Quick description

Built in 1908, this Art Deco-style hotel is located in Flims, close to the crystal-clear Cauma lake. The hotel is set in a sunny wood glade protected from the wind. The rooms are decorated in Alpine style, and Thomas Mann and his wife Katja were once guests at Sunstar Alpine Hotel Flims. All drinks from the minibar are free of charge, and some rooms also include a balcony. The spa facilities include a swimming pool, a sauna and a steam bath. Guests can also relax on the terrace and children can play in the games room. A 5-course menu with several choices based on fresh, regional ingredients is offered in the restaurant. You can select from a delicious range of starters, salads from the buffet, various soups and 3 main courses (meat, fish, vegetarian) plus the chef's seasonal recommendations. There is also a choice of tasty desserts and twice a week the chef invites you to a special themed dinner. Free ski-bus-shuttle service is offered from the hotel to the cable car station.
