The springs called Czarna i Biała Wisełka and also a small creek Malinka, which form the queen of all polish rivers – Wisla - rise here onto the earth surface.The town center of Wisla is located in the elevation of 430 m. above the sea level. Surrounding hills come up to 300 to 600 m. above the sea level. The highest point is the hill Barania Góra (1220 m.n.m.). It is an ideal place especially for winter sports fans, since there are 27 ski lifts in the nearby area. The slopes are suitable for ski and snowboard races, some offer artificial snow and lighting. There are also ski jumps and trails for cross-country skiing available for public and sportsmen. Big attraction in the winter time is also a ride on a horse pulled carriage with additional ram roasting by the lights of torches. Hiking trails, swimming pools, tennis courts, and canoeing are available not only in the summer time. There is also a possibility to undertake a nice excursion to the Białej Wisełki waterfalls while enjoying a beautifull educational hike trail and breathing clean air. But these are not the only attractions. Historical sights such as the hunting castle of the Habsburg dynasty from 19. century, old buildings in the town center, or castle of the polish president Ignác Mościckie from 1930 can be found in the surroundings.
