The spas offer choices between relax and wellness stays, as well as the therapeutic stays. The therapeutic stays are focused on the cure of the non-tubercular diseases of the airways and on some dysbolism and ductless gland diseases, as well as on lighter forms of psychoneurosis and neurotic states and on states of general psychical and physical exhaustion. The spa Novy Smokovec belongs to the most widely known climatic spa. It is situated in the centre of Tatra`s national park (TANAP), 1018 m above sea level, on the bottom of the Slavkovsky peak. As the climatic spa has a high-elevation character, it has got an ideal southern position in the softwoods; and from the north, the spa is surrounded by the spectacular mountain peaks of the High Tatras. The position of the spa, which is directly in the tourist centre of the city Novy Smokovec, creates the perfect conditions for hiking and for sport activities. The spa guests can make use of the ski slopes, of the sprint courses, of the hiking paths. Procedures provided: Individual inhalation cure, curative physical training (breathing exercise, relaxation exercises, individual curative physical training), massages (classical massage, reflex, subaqaual), hydrotherapy (bubble bath, Scottish spritzers, whirl baths for upper and lower limbs, pool, sauna), electrotherapy and warmth-therapy (dynamic flows, diathermy, solux, ultrasound, magnetotherapy, hydrogalvan, biotron, peat veneerings, oxygenotherapy, gas injections. The therapeutic house offers the lodging in 20 rooms, which have with a bathroom and a toilet; and also in one apartment; all the rooms include TV and a radio. All the therapeutic procedures are provided on the premises. Other hotel services: central safe, exchange, fax, library, parking, taxi, organization of the trips and of the culture programme and catering in therapeutic house ca 50m. The price of the spa stay includes: lodging, full board, entrance and exit medical check, and 3 procedures a day. Minimal length of the stay is 6 nights. The price of the relax stay comprises lodging, half-board, entrance and exit medical check and 2 procedures a day. The price of the lodging includes the lodging with breakfast.
